would this work on my 2001 gt

I have a set of ported heads that were built for a turbo car. These heads flow 205cfm intake and 167cfm exhaust at .550 with the stock valves in place, so with the new bigger valves it may flow a bit more. They have oversize stainless swirl polished valves in the intake and exhaust as well as comp upgrade valve springs. Everything is new and unused (except the head castings). These heads were built to go on my turbo/cammed 2v, but now i am going 4v so I don't need these. The heads are assembled and ready to go. Also they come with rockers and lifters and I can put the stock cams in them if you desire for no extra charge, but these heads could really use some after market cams if you know what I mean. I spent over 1200.00 on these and I am just trying to recover some cost. If you "buy it now" you will get free shipping. I reserve the right to end the auction to local sales. [/align]

its not worth your money. those heads may slightly outflow stock heads.... my heads flow around 240cfm intake and 205 cfm exhuast... the only way those could flow so bad is if they were dremeled out by hand by him or something...

also he would have had to cut for the oversized valves which it seems he did not do that.... so they will show no gains and could leak...

i sent him this question on the heads...

why do these heads flow so little for being a ported head? 4.6 stock heads flow close to the same numbers from what ive seen?
also, were these heads cut to fit the oversized valves? do they have new valve guides and guide seals?
also, have these heads ever been heli coiled?

he seems stupid enough to not know what is going on so he probably wont be able to answer these questions. he says the only thing used are the casts so that means it should have new valve guides and seals as well. which it doesnt seem to have.

the only difference that looks to be done to these heads is a polish job to clean them up...

EDIT: they flow 20 more than cfm than stock..... less than the patriot performance stage 2 heads... which are more like stage 1 heads. so those heads are like a stage 1/2

I wouldn't waist your time. If you want good flowing heads, either take yours off to be poted and valved or pick up some patriots.
