Default Strut bar problem?

Is anyone with a mac cold air having a problem with a strut bar hitting it? I got a strut bar from my neighbor for free unsure of brand, but its powdercoated red and is brand new. And when i try to put it on its hitting my cold air inlet pipe. Is this ment for stock intake rubber tube?

My strut bar fit fine until I put on an aftermarket TB and plenum.
