I never really kept track of how many miles per gallon I was getting, I just filled her up every 3 days. I guess thats because I bought a MUSTANG GT and not a hybrid. Who cares give her gas when she needs it.

Its agreed upon that bitching about a mustang'sfuel economyshows ones ignorance. However, there's nothing wrong with trying to maximize fuel economy-as long as you're not bitching about it.

That said...I drive like a ****ing grandma now for a couple reasons... 1. I can't afford to break anything elsefor a while. 2. I can't afford a speeding ticket. 3.I don't want to pay more than necessary for fuel.

The trick to number three is driving slow. My fuel economy nearly doubles when I drive 60-65mph vs 90mph and I get to the same destination within +/- 10 min every time...

Last time I got gas it was 3.29 for 87 up here in CT...
