RE: Racing a Truck
one of my buddy's has a Chevy crewcab D-max that runs 12's in the 1/4 on 35" tires running four wheel drive.
and another one has a dodge cummins crewcab that runs 11's with 35" slicks running 4wheeldrive
Both of them maxed out the dino when they did a dino day.
Don't be pissed when he hands you your a$$ in a race.

You gotta watch out for those diesels. A buddy of mine has a Dodge pushin 900whp and 1250wtq. Nitrous, water/methanol, larger turbo, tune can do wonders! lol. Now I don't know if this guy has all of that, but you never know! Even if it is just a tune, he could be pushing smoe serios HP and TQ

Yeah. It VERY popular for diesels to run nitrous. They have such high intake temps and such high compression that nitrous really helps to cool things down. Ive seen many times where they run nitrous and propane. Works good together.
There was a propane injected 6.0 F-250 single cab with a new turbo, exhaust, chip, meth injection, everything that beat a 98 corvette coupe when i worked at a dealership. It was from a 35 mph and the guy had to put the truck in 4wd on the highway just to keep it hooked up. Crazy stuff man. Those trucks are terrors.
Haha i had a suped' up duramax try to eff with me going up "the pass" on the way home a few weeks ago. And then i realized he was trying to race lol . . .

Here is the thing with diesels, they can be compared to Hondas in that in general everyone who drives one thinks its fast and that the fast ones are found few and far between. However there were several diesels running 15s and 14s at my local track and only one that ran 12s.
