I'm just going to replace the hood with another stock one since I like the way it looks but I think I'm going to put hood pins on the next one.

man i know how this feels! i was driving to school a few weeks ago (about 5am, still dark out) and all of a sudden i see the hood shake violently and start to rise i was like HOOLLY ********!! i slam the brakes so hard my nose hit the steering wheel. Atleast nothing happened to my car so i was good

Yup! Cracked it! The windshield guy tried to fix it the best he could but I guess I'm going to have to look for another one so if you know anyone that has a good used one cheap please let me know!

most used ones are broken or faded badly.. i had to buy mine new... those things are pricey too... its 150 bucks for that dang piece of plastic.

so wait your stock hood flew up for no reason? that is scary... why would that happen? I never thought it was something I would need to worry about until I replaced the stock one..
