My Mustang is stock and quiet. Can you tell me more about this mod to stock muffler?

 

yeah i really dont wanna drop 3k at once just for the FI kit i jsut dont have that kind of money laying around right now... and being a college student i dont think it would be to smart

i'm thinking ill do all the bolt-ons first...

does this all sound like a good idea? i went to summit racing and the pricing on this stuff seemed pretty good. would i have to remove or replace any of this if i went to a blower later on down the road? hell the stang only has 36k miles on it!
what kind of numbers can i expect with this (auto) hp wise and 1/4 wise ?
i really look forward to possibly getting this car the more i read about it and look at this site the more i want it!

 

Dont do that. Just go to your local car parts store and get some $20 Cherry bomb mufflers and cut those in. Thats the way to go.

 

That sounds good.. they only thing you will have to remove if you go F/I is the intake.

I like forced induction as much as the other guy but I'm sticking NA unless God drops a S/C in my lap for only 3grand..

lol any expected numbers on what a setup like taht might acheive? im thinking that will put me where i wanna be for a while by the time i get bored getting all these and stuff i might have saved up enough for a blower lol
