I guess if your worried about safety that much I'm not one to push or bother but IMO (which doesn't matter to you) you should have worried about hitting 12's or better before you started trying to look fast.

On a side note, not being a dick; the cage looks good. What do you have to do to get it NHRA aproved?

 

80 bucks is pretty cheap, I might have thought about doing it for that price.

 

yea it was 162 total from s and w racecars but it was kinda universal and a bitch to modify to fit but my dad helped me and i welded it. you dont have to get a cage certified till 9.99s so i think they just check to see if you have one during tech. buy the way that 13.4 was letting off because it was my first time spraying. when i got done they wouldnt let me make another pass because they said i needed a cage lol. im putting my 4.10s in during my christmas break so i think with some drag radials i could be in the 12s but........... we'll see.

um yeah my teacher has a 99 cobra vertwith n20 and he runs 11's with no roll cage.but if you are going to go for low numbers i can understand but 13.4 i dont think you need one.[&:]

 

thats fine but like i said i cant really run at all because the track tells me i have to leave if i dont have one because rules are rules.
