Default Driving in the rain...

Well ever since my crash in the rain I am a lil cautious in the rain, maybe 2 much. Today I made a trip to High Point, NC in the rain from Locust. A 1hr trip took me about 2 hours. I was goign so slow and let people pass me. I have 315 rear tires a 4:10s they dont like rain. Any tips? When can u tell its not to wet to do the speed limit?

The thing about the rain is drive at a speed that your comfortable with. With rubber 315's in the back your a hydroplane waiting to happen, get thinner tires that you can throw on when weather gets bad.

Driving in the rain in NJ wasn't as bad as it is down here in NC. I don't know what it is, but the roads down here suck a$$ in the rain.

I had the nittos and they would hook in the rain at WOT the first month I had them. After that they weren't too good in the rain. A few months ago I did a complete 360 through an intersection, ended up on the wrong side of the road and almost caused an accident. I was only going 30 mph but it still happened. Be careful!!

First off who gives a **** about the people beeping at you. You go slow because youdont want to wreck your car and maybe evenwreck yourself.Just stay in the right hand lane and go slow and anyone that rides your *** and beeps just throw cookies or whatever is in your car at them. Your smart and responsible for going slow, it shows that your not a child and you respectyour car and the carsaround you. And pretty much the only thing you can do about driving in the rain is turn your traction control on. It really works greattttt for me I love it. Other than that there is not much you can do, you drive a mustang dude.

I go slower in my Mustang than in my Truck. I have a 2500 Chevy with some good size meat on it. I drive much slower in my stang usually not the speed limit even thought i have brand new tires on it. I just keep my speed slower and drive as fast as I feel comfortable cause I have found out in my old truck which had 10bolt posi They can spin quick
