Hrmms.... 3 year old mustang with 260hp ot 1 year old STI with 300 Hp....

Simple Bolt-ons your in the 12's.... Can go have fun in the Dirt and Woods(My friend has one we rally the **** out of it)... Id Go for the STI and its 4 doors Asuming both were stock....

Plus at 20 years old you can pick up some ricer Highschool Hotties (Good story behind that in my friends wrx, YES the girls were all 18 )

 

STI > 99-04 mustang

05+ mustang > STI

 

I hate to say it but its the underlying truth behind these cars...your car is an extension of your dick, and I would rather drive a big strong V8 that sounds badass over a little ricer with a fart can any day.

 

I would assume that most girls don't know what's under the hood of an STI and would probably judge the car on looks alone. In that case that Mustang far suprasses the ricer. Plus you can't get an STI in vert.

ANYWAY, am I the only one here not buying cars based on "omg can i get mindless high school girls with it" and buying a car that I like and I want????? I just dont get it...

 

The only girls I've impressed in my car are the ones that are actually into cars. Other than that, most girls think its just a regular ole mustang.

But I didn't buy my car to impress the girls... I bought it to race and have fun with. If it impresses someone along the way, then I'd take it in stride.

Mustangs are just easily recognizable and some girls just know that and pick them out of a crowd. As far as which is cooler... I think its a toss up. Many girls just base a car on what it looks like so the STI might win there with some. For me, it was a alot cooler to be in a mustang with you were around high school.

wow.... i bought my mustang because i hated how the camaro i test drove rattled and i hated how the charger R/T that i test drove felt so disconnected.

and in terms of buying a car to 'impress' anyone... thats not really working too well for me now considering the stang is under a tarp and covered in snow and ice....and i'm certainly not impressing chicks in my 94 accord haha


if youre in a northern state that sees wintery mix...i'd get the STI.... then i'd get rid of the boy racer wing and get one off of the standard WRX's. And to those of you throwing out 'ricer' insults at the STI.... pull yourselves out of 1969.... V8s arent the only fast cars nowadays....

 

im not trading for a sti..no way i love my car..i was just asking everyones opinions.

 

anybody who buys a car to pick up chicks is obviously compensating for something....kinda sad.
