blackonblacksls really did trap 106 with those mods.

he was on the same track i ran my automatic gt to 13.9 at.

below seal level, great track prep and cold weather = Houston raceway park "the fastest track in the world"

automatic gt with k&n filter, off road x pipe with stock mufflers can do 13.9 there, then i think a bolt on bullit can trap 106 in the right conditions and driven well

That's what I figured several pages back, but no one seemed to care at all about the actual track that this particular pass was made at....
I mentioned this several pages back myself. BTW my bolt-on 2-valve runs 106 at a decent track [8D]

Some tracks are good for tuning, some are good for E.T.'s, Some are as good as a country road. Unless you can replicate E.T's at every track or "average" your E.T.s then it's not an acurate measure of how quick/fast your car really is. Thats the veriable no one takes into account when the trash talk about people being slower than them. Only measure truely between cars of the same average HP is to race repetitiously (hot lapping) and take the best runs average between the two cars.

Just because someone has a 13.0 in their sig doesn't mean I'm going to jump on their ego fest bandwagon.

I agree, since there is only one 1/4 mile track near me (actually 2.25 hours away) I have to compare 1/8 mile times. I have ran onfour 1/8 mile tracks and have trapped 85mph+ on all of them and ran within a tenth also. Houston is in fact know as one of the fastest track in the nation. I highly doubt his times would be as good elsewhere.[8D]

I run mid 13's at a track here in Michigan called Milan and can't break out of the 14's at other tracks (Stanton/Ubly) with my 2:73's. My opinion still says the B and the G are as equal as the driver and track.

well if my time was strictly because of weather conditions, why is my 8thmile so ****ty compared to my 1/4mile time.... hell look at one of the slips another fox body stang actually had a better 8th mph and he ends up with the exact same trap speed as me....
