Default floorboard lighting

does anyone know where the wire is for the overhead light in a 2004 gt? i just ordered white led lights for my floorboards and trunk. a friend spliced his floorboard lights in the passenger side pillar (but he's got a 2006 gt). if anyone has pics that would be helpful too.

anyone???
Are these to light up underneath the car so you can see the road under the car????
Or are these lights to light up inside or something???

If that is what your doing to light up outside under the car's floor boards, people arn't replying because they are trying to keep from laughing at the RICER mod your doing and can't type.

It's your car, rice away....

I think he is putting them inside and wants them to light up when he opens his doors or trunk.

I think the wires are in the drivers piller but not sure.

Cool..
Wel, forgive my ignorance... It sounded like a ricer mod.[8D]
I would like to see a pic of it in operation.

These are for the inside. I'm gonna mount them just under the dash and splice them into the overhead light, so they come on when the doors open. Same with the trunk, the led bar is going to be mounted towards the rear of trunk, where the OEM bulb doesn't shine. these kits are really cheap if anyone is interested and can do simple wire splicing. www.superbrightleds.com

I have Blue LED's under my dash. I guess you older guys could see it as a "ricer" mod, butactully its just another way of making our own cars "unique".

Im not sure how you're gona slpice them in with your door switch, but i justhooked mine in with my headlights.I have them put up under the dash in a way, so when i have myparking or headlights on they dont shine up into my face. Its pretty cool. And i got mine from advanced auto for like $15.

Ill get a pic later today and try and post it up.
