I just went through all this with the car I am about to get. The first choice would be a turbo if you're going for a high power car, because of the efficiency of the turbo they can make more power than superchargers in the same condition(boost, air temp, etc, ...), but they are expensive.Nitrous is the cheapest and can make huge power for not much $$. The only drawbacks to nitrous is past a certain point you need to build the engine to use it safely and it can run out. Supercharging can give decent results on stock blocks and internalswithout intercoolers, they are generally more expensive than nitrous, but cheaper than turbos.

j/w wouldn't spray be the best on the engine since it isnt a constant boost?

turbo is best for power... but the cheapest and safest and coolest sounding way to go is the supercharger!!!! FTW

Built shortblock, built heads, and a 300 shot.

It would be great if you could do it. You can't, but it would be great.

There is a misconception that you can just keep turning up the juice and its going to keep making more power. After a certian point, all it makes is broken engines.

If your looking for BIG power on a 2v the only way to do it is a blower/turbo. Find me a single nitrous car making say 550+ and maybe I will think another way...

Wouldnt a turbo be safer due to the fact that it runs of your exhaust and not the engine directly. Def not cheaper though.
