Could I put some 17x8 up front or 18x8? or do i have to stick to 17/18x7

No you can go wider if you want. I have 18x8's in my front.

You could do that although you'd do better to upgrade widths too. at least 9 inch wide, that way you'll be able to fit a 275 tire. Looks better and handles better.

The stagared wheel size can be done right or it can look like poop. Find what ever wheel design you want then have someone photoshop the stagared size. The problem will be finding a tire side wall that looks good. They wont match your front will be thick than your backs.

I know plenty of people that have 17's and 18's. 14 and 15's on Hotrods.

alright thanks. cuz i was looking into getting some 18x8 fr500 rims for the front and18x10.5 out back.

THat seems to be the wheel to have lately. I love the 500's. I think you can pick up a set with cheap tires for around 800-1100 shipped from OE wheels, OE Concepts or AFS Wheels. All three of them have ebay stores and all three of them are the same wheel you'll buy at American Muscle or competitors. All those wheels are made in the same factories in Malaysia or some place.

lol. not to be a dick, but i dont care where they are made as long as they dont fall apart while im driving. hahaha.

but seriously is the quality good? even though they are prob made in some sweatshop.

I've bought wheels from all three and they are very good quality! lol I wasn't meaning it in a negative way. I meant that they all come from the same place so don't worry about one's quality being better than another. The only real difference is each company has a slightly different center cap.

can you even find 18x8 or 18x10.5 DD FR500s??? I couldnt, only 18x9 and 18x10
