I will never understand anyone that has a weekend car. How can you have a Vehicle that you love driving but only drive 2 days a week. Cars are made to be driven get out and enjoy them you only live once.

Some of us take the train to work, and enjoy the luxury of napping and reading the paper during our commute, opposed to sitting in traffic sucking up gas that is better spent on twisty backroads along a river with no traffic.

I'm not sure if the super snake will come in under 80K, but if so, that would be my choice.

Wow I definitely wouldn't take any of those overa black '04 Cobra. I would drive them, but not own any of them. Just give me a '04 Cobra and the price difference between the Z06 and the 'stang, and I will be SOOOO happy

1) a weekend car means its a privilege to drive, and since you only drive it certain times it makes that car seem so much better.
2) i have drive in a cobra before, ive driven in a z06 before... while the mustang are nice car, i think theres something exotics can offer that no entry level sports car ever will (aside from horrible upkeep costs..)
yes ive heard of zr1, the 92 version and the upcoming 09 version, the 09 is going to be in the 90k+ range, high viper/low ferrariterritory.

I'd take a gt500kr as a weekend car. But if I was to have that much money for one, I'd save up a little more for either

or

dream cars.... those grills just make me weak all over=/

For a purely fun, weekend only car?

All cars listed so far > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaWoo82zNUA

Ariel Atom. Nothing is going to outhandle it on the road. I know, it IS powered by a civic motor, but at least its superchaged, and the thing doesn't weigh ANYTHING.

Best of all, its cheap. I think its like 30K US, and it would run rings around any Z06 or evo on the circuit course. Plus, nothing is cooler than an open cockpit car you can acutally watch the suspension move on!

edit; Forget the circle track, I just watched the vid again. Its got superiour power/weight ratio to a freaking enzo. buy bye 70K Zo6!

500 KG btw... holy cow.
