I have a 99 gt, 4.6.I'm in the process of putting bbk long tube headers on. I bought the o2 sensor extension wires that fit the back two sensorsfor theX pipe. I assumed the front sensors would fit, apparently not. Can some one tell me what I need for the front O2 sensors for the headers. Preferably in the bbk brand. The guy I have putting the headers on says it needs to take a different extension.

 

You've got it backwards, the front 02 sensors need extending and the rears fit fine, i recieved the wrong ones when I got mine, so I just modified the plastics tabs and slots so they would fit the front ones, Ive had no problems since.

 

I would prefer not to alter the tabs. Does anybody know if someone sells the right extensions. Thanks

 

I had to break my tabs off too. I called bbk and they said they only sell one style.

You have to cut the tabs on all o2 sensor extenders and MIL eliminators. I just took my dremel and shaved them off of the drivers side I believe. They are all the same. A metal file will be just fine
