header question...?
i know just about everyone in here says the best hp gains for the money is long tube headers. i do not want headers that rust. i know they offer stainless steel, chrome, polished chrome, ceramic coated and so on. what will rust and what will not? question # 2. what type of headers do yall run and why you picked that specific brand and finish with the price. thanks in advance!
if your on a budget get mac or bbk
ALL HEADERS WILL RUST...just a matter of how long it takes for them to start.
ceramics are proble your best best for the all around good performing/ lasting header.

A rust is a stain, so then that wouldn't be considered stainless now would it?
ORIGINAL: ripped camel
That sucks! I'd sue the bastards for false advertising

I have MAC HTS coated longtubes. I sanded them when I got them and resprayed them with High temp paint. Cost me $4 and not a spec of rust in over 2 years. Plus side is you can make them any color you want
I chose just flat silver like they came.
