I had a fun run in with a pullied cobalt ss , with full exhaust and tuned. We were pretty evenly matched. Out of 4 races we had i would call them draws. But the dudes were cool. What do you think a cobalt ss pullied full exhaust and tuned is putting down.

 

My buddy has a Cobalt SS S/C and he eats up camaros and destroys mustangs on the street. The track is a different story though.

 

yeah thats my .02 worth too...buddy i used to work with had a cobalt ss/sc and we would race on the street, and he'd work my ***.....pretty quick cars, but like you said...track is a different story...the cobalt crowd isnt a bad one either...not your typical cocky *** import crowd..some are pretty cool dudes

 

my buddy has an ion redline (200hp supercharged) and he was gonna get a stage2 kit that puts it at 240hp, so i'd say with exhaust and a good tune they are probably 260ish at the fly. his ion with nothing but an intake will hang dead even with me at higher speeds but i rape him off the line.

No only the ones that say "Supercharged SS" have it. If it's jsut a SS it's NA. My buddy is a N20 freak and he was putting 100 shot on top of the S/C. He blew it, forged it. Turbo'd it and has 150shot now. The thing is beastly. Only bad thing is I guess he's still pulling 13's at the track. (which he did almost stock with a ported blower) On the street though he beating low 12 second cars and from a Roll he enilate full bolt on LS1's and C5 vettes.
