Default 4.10s

just got done installing the 4.10s, wat a pain in the d!ck............. but totally worth it. i didnt really want to beat on them too much but me and my buddy took her out for a test drive and he thought it was a totally different car. i guess for my first time it wasnt too bad but i wouldnt suggest trying to install these your self unless your good with a micrometer.

Yea, they actually make a tool that'll put the shims and races in at the same time. Who keeps one of those handy though?

haha if you actually read the ford spec on shopkey it says bang shims in with hammer, go figure. it took one wack with a rubber hammer and the factory cast shim shattered so i just replaced it with the ones in the kit.

I wouldn't listen to shopkey anymore then. Your supposed to put the shims in and tap the races with the hammer if needed.

eh it wasnt too bad, shopkeys pretty good for the torque specs, turning torque, fluid capacities, etc. i figure il wait a lil while before i beat on them but im sure that wont last long.
