Just another praise for MGW shifters. I ordered it last week for myself since I am doing my clutch this weekend. I dont want to rip out the shifter bezel more times than needed so I dont break it, so while I am in there, the shifter gets replaced. I installed it today and left the bezel out b/c I am impatient. FEELS GREAT. but it is tight as ****...

edit:curse fitlers....
LOL! It will get a little better each day. After about a week of driving, you will really love it. I was going to say looser, but I was trying to keep to the point as much as possible!

I like my MGW now that it has broken in a bit.

How easy was it getting the stock shifter out? I swear they used like every kind ofglue + concrete on my stock shifter.

I hit it once to the left with just the handle on there, no ****, and it popped right off I remember hearing you had quite a bit more trouble getting yours off.

It took me forever to get my Roush shifter off the trans. I pried like crazy, both left and right, and it just wouldn't budge. Finally, i just grabbed a started pushing towards the passenger side and it came loose and I fell over [>:]. I gave the Roush to my friend for like 40 bucks. He called me while I was at work asking how to get the stock shifter off. WHILE I was on the phone with him, his came right off without much hassle. I was like WTF?! [:@]
