Okay I have a 2000 auto vert and i wanted to get NOS for it..I know a NOS kit will run me about 620 bucks and i was just wondering how many sprays will i get outta the 10lb bottle?and about how much it costs to refill it? and lastly anywhere cheaper to get a kit other than americanmuscle.com? thanks for the info im a newbie when it comes to spray........

 

There are cheaper places to get nitrous at than AM.com, although they have great customer service.

Someone told me a 10 pound bottle will last for about 5-7 passes with about a 100 shot. This was for a dry kit, not sure if it matters.

Bottle refills go by the pound. Depends on the place you get it filled up. Some charge $4 a pound, others charge a little less or more, so figure about 40-45 dollars roughly per fill up.

 

the bare kit is 620, but there is alot of other crap that adds up. expect to spend between 1200-1500 when all is said and done. how many sprays? it depends on the shot and the duration and how often you spray. im not 100% sure what NOS costs per pound.. last i heard it was around $3?

That has everything you need to run spray.
All of the other things that you buy are add ons. Purge valves etc.

There is other safter equpiment that you might want.... window switch, fuel pressure cutoff, etc..

 

5 to 7 quarter mile passes on a 10 pound bottle . i pay 40 $ to fill it, plus yoe will want a bottle heater pressure guage remote opener purge valve . it adds up quick.
