I didnt say it was just the rims... i said they werent doing you any favors... (unless they are made from spun aluminum or a similar weight reducing material). I dunno how you cant tell youre spinning... watch your speedometer and see if it goes up.. then down then up again... same with the tach

You are using two feet, one on the brake and one on the gas to bring up the rpms, then when you launch letting go of the brake and flooring it?

Simply put, don't.

Use one foot and one foot only. It is far less spectacular, but when you launch definitely ease into it. When you KNOW you have hooked, then you can floor it.

wow 2.6? yea dont floor it. ease into it and then gun it
+1^^^^^^
Exactly what I was going to say. You can't build that Torque convertor up like that and floor it and expect to hook. Roll into it. You're spinning bad.

i have to agree with everyone else, use one foot, and don't floor it right away, when you feel you hooked then floor it

whats the average 60ft for a bad driver. I don't know how I would rank myself as a driver, but I know I'm not great or anything. I have only been to the track once and got 2 runs in. Both times I cut a 2.2 60ft, is that good???

Yes a 2.2 is a bad 60 foot time especially w/ a vortech. With practice you should be around 1.8 or so. What did you run w/ your supercharger in the 1/4? W/ out slicks you should be in the 12s.

Not too bad but room for improvement. Have you ran w/ your vortech yet? How is your vortech w/ those 4.10 gears?

No I haven't ran it yet. Driving is ALOT more fun. The whole "going through gears to fast" isn't that bad, but it might be better if I had like 3.73's but I dunno. Only action I have had since I got the vortech was a 2002 Z06. From 50 to 145, he beat me by 4 cars. not too bad IMO, but i dunno
