In relation to stock headers on a gt, what fits the lt or shorty?

If I want to replace the stock headers and keep it the same size, which do I go with shorty or long tube?

shorty. if you get long-tubes, you'll have to get a shorty mid-pipe. shorty headers will match up with your stock mid-pipe.

Just didn't understand what you were asking. Shorty. They will be a direct replacement with your stock manifolds.

Shorty's keep your stock H-pipe. With LT's you'll have to get a new H-pipe. But why in the hell would you replace your headers before you H-pipe? You should do some more research and learn about your car.

I honestly wouldn't waste the time and money on shorties. Get LT's or don't bother because the gains you'll see with shorties are minimal.

does anybody have some actual dyno #s for shorty gains.. everyone always talks so much **** about em but never backs anything up with hard facts. i know that some dude with a heavily modded car on here added lts and only gained 9rwhp. when you look at the design of shorty headers compared to manifold they are better flowing. so they cant be all bad.
