alright. i doubt anybody here knows but ive been saving up since summer to get a new car.. i saved up a decent amount of cash and an offer came up the other week... an 01 cobra with 22K on it for 13k... i dont have that cash. so i waited around and this car happened to pop up... its an 03 DSG GT 5speed... premium i guess?? (dark charcoal leather, 460, silver polished bullits [:'(]) its got 60K on the clock.. the asking price is 10,995... i plan on at least getting it down to 10and if i did,would that be a good price for that year car with that many miles. i looked at kbb and it seems to be like 3K under value?? idk!!

which rims do you think look best with this color.. i know the DD all around is a mineral gray but u get the idea

I like the 3rd pic. The DSG really is an awesome color.

But if I were you, I'd wait around on a 4v.

yeah, im growing fond of the color (i really wish i had ur car color though with black leather)... ive thought about this so many times and i think id be content with a GT.. they arent THAT fast but ive driven my friends and i loved it (he put on an X pipe catback and CAI and it felt so much faster than stock lol).. they are quicker than most cars on the road.. i cant stand driving an automatic and i dont want to wait another year to save another wad up cash. so GT it is for me.

 

I'd wait for the cobra too. Cobras are just so sick and worth the wait. I personally don't like dd but I like a 10.5" wheel. Don't do dd all around though. Looks tacky. Good luck with whatever get and I love that color.

 

I dont think those cars are the one's that hes talking about. Those are just examples of wheels he likes.

EDIT: i need opinions about the price too... is 11K too much for a car with the details i described?? would 10K out the door (after tax and stuff) be too cheap?? its on a lot with all G35's 350z and newer cars etc...(idk if that matters) nor do i know if cash up front will help drop the price. i know it worked for the car i have now

also heard that this guy buys his cars from auctions.. so he gets them really cheap i assume and sells them for like double wht he paid?? just guessing

 

i know. im just saying. i felt like i should say something about the exaust because imo i think it looks cool.
