I wouldn't be suprised if a Mustang shop charged more than 300 dollars...but the OP said his dad's buddy can do it for 200 bucks? Is he experienced with rear ends (sex jokes aside)? And if you go that route would it be done in a shop?

I got mine installed from a buddy's buddy who wanted my 3.27s.

NEVER bring your car to ford to be worked on or to get parts for your car they are rediculously over priced, $200 sounds about right to have them put in thats what i was told they could be done for when i was looking into doing them.

I was quoted $350 at a local shop here but it's nice to have auto tech graduates for best friends. So $11 for the 30 pack we're gonna drink thatn ight.

200 is a good price if he knows what hes doing. 700 for labor is highway robbery.

i had a guy here that said he'd do it for 200 but i cant ever get ahold of him on the day we set up (hes blown me off twice now with bull**** excuses) to install my gears so obviously he has a problem with getting paid. its probably cuz its a mustang not a ricer...hes a "tuner" btw

anything over 300 bucks i wont pay
