So I cancelled my BBK LT headers for some MAC LT headers and my mid pipe is a pro chamber. What do you think of MAC headers and pro chamber??? Does anyone have this setup? How do you like it???

so can anyone explain a lil more on why a prochamber might be better thanan x pipe?

 

a prochamber is no better than an h or x. i wanna say the x pipe ALWAYS yields the most power out of all the midpipes(but i could be wrong lol)
but the power diff. is no where near n e thing you could feel or notice.(maybe 2-3) its all about sound

no you wont need a tuner, unless you get an off-road midpipe without mill eliminators. then you would use the tuner to tun off the CEL or check engine light.

 

so once i install my headers and mid pipe i shouldnt need a tuner??? And after these installed I really am considering forged internals then 150 shot.

 

actually the prochamber flows a little better than an X because instead of a narrow X to cross over exhaust into the lower pressure tube, theres a 'chamber'. the biggest difference is sound. you get the faster X pipe sound without the obnoxious rasp. by flows better than an X we are talking 1 more HP than an X maybe, and X having maybe 1hp over an H pipe.

but your right the performance difference between h, x, and prochamber is nearly nothing. the only reason to buy midpipes is for sound.
