Gears will give you that get up and go you are looking for. Flowmaster will put a smile on your face everytime you start your car
Well, you might want to find out exactly what sound you like. There is a little gain with a catback, but it's really all about the sound.
Some good advice I've received is to know where you want to be in the end. Example, if you're gonna go with a s/c getting a cai isn't a good idea, the gears you would get would depend if you're going fi or n/a, etc...

i would definately get gears, it will cost about 450, but although it doesn't increase your hp, you can definately feel the pull difference. it will bring a whole new life to your car. and get something other than k&n... you can get a whole kit 80 bucks....try bomz racing
Gears, depending on how affordable the labor would be in his area are a good idea.
A more REASONABLE and accurate estimate as to the costs of a gear swap could total around 600+. It depends on your installer.
If you take the installer out of the equation, a cold air kit will crisp your throttle response. A catted X or H pipe will also help, but it'll run you atleast $300, catless will be anywhere from $150-250, but your car will smell to high heavens and it will not be smog legal.
You can get a cat-back exhaust, they run anywhere from $300-450+ depending on the brand. Installation is easily done by any decent muffler shop for $120 or less.
Forget that a superchip exists. If you do any modifications to your cars 'computer', I would recommend you pick up a SCT handheld tuner, they will come with a 'canned' tune. However, if you get a SCT tuner - you would achieve much better results with a professional tune rather than using what comes with the handheld.
