Default removing emblems

I bought a blackout decklid decal for my trunk and I have to remove the GT emblem to put it on. Is it stuck on or bolted on and what's the best way to remove it?

I also have the 35th anny badges on the side and was thinking about replacing them with GT badges but I haven't really decided. Are these bolted on or stuck on? Best way to remove them?

Thanks for the help..

the Gt is just double sided adhesive and the ford emblem is adhesive and two alignment holes, use fishing line and goo gone or something of that sort to get all of it off

So basically to take off the GT emblem; take the fishing line and wrap it around (between the car and emblem) put some goo gone in there and it will come off?

Also,
Is there going to be a mark where the emblem was?

you use the fishing lien and work it back and forth behind the emblem til it comes off, then you have to use soem sort of adhesive remover such as goo gone to wipe away the excess on the body

if it is an older car I would wait til it is hot outside in the middle of the day or use a hairdryer or heat gun to loosen the emblem up first.

would hate to see another thread by you asking how to fix peeled off paint!

I just installed my blackout decal on my car today and it looks really good. If you have a girlfriend I would suggest letting her help. lol. My girlfriend did a great job helping me get the decals to stick. They needed a womens touch.

As for the emblems. Heat them with a hair dryer and then use fishing line to get the emblem off.
