well i picked up my mach 1 grill delete and when i finished the installation i turn on the car and i notice a ticking noise, so i drove around the block to check if the noise will get loud as i step on the car, nothing happen until i was trying to park the car in the house when suddenly a big misfire and a little black smoke came from the hood. sounds like a lift might have gone bad,i haveto open it up to see if something else was damage, hoping for the best.

 

ouch, hope its not damaged too bad!

 

ok i opened up and found out that one of the spark plugs came loose do to the tread went bad in the block, i might have to open upheads.

mide as well port and polish them while they are off.. or just get stage 2 heads!!!

 

that ticking you heard was air escaping around the plug []anytime i think i hear a tick i bust out a deep 5/8ths and a ratchet. i even keep them in the car for this sorta thing,it scares the crap outta me

 

I had a spark plug blow out last year...got a new one, screwed it in...no problems since. Guess I got lucky[:-]
