I had always been into foxbodies. Have had several. Sold my last 5.0 I had a couple months ago. I just picked up a 03' GT vert 5spd w/ saleen kit on it. Not too knowledgable of the 4.6 models and hoping to get a little insight here. Just has some basic mods on it as of now. BBK cold air intake, lowered 1.5in front, H-pipe w/ dumps, and 3.73 gears. Gonna try to start with H/C/I. Any other cheap suggestions before I tear into the heart. Pics to come a little later in the day!!!!

sounds like you got a nice stage for some h/c/i action.. GO FOR IT

or save the money and do a blower riht off the bat. mongoose kit from MPH runs 4k to your door.. about the same money as h/c/i

 

id procharge it, im also from the 5.0 section. i sold my 89 lx 5.0 that was a beast. and i sold it and picked me up a 97 cobra.

 

HCI on a 4.6 isn't the same as on a fox. You'll get better gains for around the same price if you just throw a supercharger on it.

Very nice! Those wheels are pretty sweet...are they 19s?

Looks like it has clear tails, but im sure u'll remove them, or at least I hope you will haha.

 

As I said before, I was a 5.0 guy, so this information, and any other is very useful if correct.Keep it coming. Also, what are somethings I need to watch out for, such as normal problems associated with these models?

 

Has 20"s on it now. Definitely the clears will be going!!!!!!!
