So iam back on the roadddd with a 2003 gt..... even though i miss my old car, this one is workin just fine for me.... BUTtttttttttt..... i looked under the car today to check out, make sure everythin is good.. For some reason i dotn think the rear diff looks factory???... anybody have anny pics of there rear diff... the rear diff have like a yellow markingon it.. i feel like it isnt factory

 

Sometimes when a rear diff service gets done people usually mark the cover. Where is it marked?

 

like where the bolts are, its silver, normal, but then like the hosing is black, and theres like a yellow dot.

they might have done that on at the factory... i never really payed too much attention to mine... im sure if i got all the dirt off that the last owner put on there i could tell you but cant see it from behind my car so i dont bother cleaning it...

 

2004 here, my diff cover is polished. and i have a yellow marking on mine.
