Lose mach, get SRT-4?
http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...d.php?t=448803
Another SHOULD I TRADE post...I decided to go with you guys and forget that blown GT, now I found an SRT-4 with some mods to trade with me and throw in $2500 so I can buy my bike
This seems like a nice car, never driven in rain/snow with some decent power, although I know it's just a neon, butI figure it's areasonably quick DDthat getssome good gas mileage, and it's almost as fast as the Mach...plus I get enough cash off the trade to finally get my 08 CBR600RR!
What do you think?

the car looks nice. why ask the forum? you know what is going to be the response from some of these guys. All I can tell you it is your money and you are the one that is going to drive it. If you like it that bad go for it.
Good luck.
Good luck.
I wouldnt because #1 ive owned a mach and driven an srt4 many times and this is what ive noticed.
1) the srt will never be as good as your mach power wise
2) the mustang handling as bad as it may be stock is still better then the srt
3) it looks like ****
4) its a neon. (horrible cars overall, made for budget seniors or people on welfare that cant afford anything safer)
5) insurence is about the same
6) ****ty interior
gears + intake + exhaust + slight suspension work on the mach and you can easily have a 300 rwhp DD that still get decent gas mileage, out handles damn near everything in its price range, a more unique car and torque.
but in the end it comes down to how bad do you want the money?

It's all up to you man.
Go with what you want. A mach will have a much better resale than an SRT4 now, and down the road. A mach is much more respected, and is a much better all around car.
Now for the positive about the SRT. It's a neon that can hand many a car a whoopin! It's extremely fast! Did I mention it's fast? It's a fun car to drive. Turbo's are fun
+ you'll have money for your new bike you want.
It's a toss up but you need to ask yourself what you have more of a passion for. Go with your instinct. Instincts are almost never wrong!
