Ok, here it is everyone. 2008 is already here and some places are already racing. So with that in mind, here is the new and improved timeslip thread. This year we are gonna have three different sections for everyone to compete in. Here are the sections

1/8 mile Forced Induction/Nitrous
1/4 mile Forced Induction/Nitrous
1/8 mile Naturally Aspired
1/4 mile Naturally Aspired
Best 60ft

Now here are the rules... any mustang from 96-04. This includes GT's, Bullitt's, Mach I's, and Cobra's. Can be any motor. You have to have 100 posts to be eligible. You can be on the N/A list and N20 list, just have the bottle off on the N/A run. Only timeslips from 2008 are eligible, nothing from 2007 and older are allowed. Everything else is wide open.

Here is how I want to see you format your timeslip post when you submit it. If you do not include everything that I'm listing,I will not add your timeslip to the thread. This isn't very difficult and it helps make it easier for me. If you don't have your 1/8 mile et and mph but have your 1/4 mile et and mph, that's ok and vice versa. Good luck to everyone!

welll wont have any runs until april ish....you decided to make this in a mid winter time...faill...shoulda waited til spring when a lot more members could participate

 

well hopefully we wont see any of ur times because u dont appreciate him taking time out of his life to make a list that everyone will enjoy and learn from..so thanks alot goldeneagle_10 because at least i realize that the list is still gonna be up by the time the track near me opens so i will be sure to post up my times and check out others...THANKS!!

 

Mitch will probably sticky this thread like he did last year since it seemed to be a big hit for the 4.6 section. So it doesn't matter when you get to the track, this thread should be around until the end of this year. Also, just cause racing hasn't started where you live, doesn't mean it hasn't for others in certain areas.

Its easier for me to get this started early this year so I don't have like 50 timeslips to sort out if I started it in April or May. Anyways, good luck to everyone that posts their times... I doubt I will be participating in it this year since my car will be setup for the autoXing and open tracking. Maybe in a year or two I have something that will compete with the likes of ZW99GT, 014.6GT, JayC, and some of the other big hitters around here.

??? Why the bitching about when the thread was made? It's the 2008 timeslip thread. Guess what? It's 2008. I went to the track Sunday, and watched, and alot of people I know will be making passes VERY soon.

i hope to make it to the track in march in my car.... currently its a k.i.a but once i get a new starter on it and a tune eventually i'll be there.
