Default dilema...

i really got myself a good dilema here. Me not watching the news before i left for work drove my stang to work at 2 and its been snowing since 330 and theres probably 2-3 inches of snow on the ground and i have no weight to put in the trunk its at home in my garage. i only have a 5 mile ride home but should i risk it driving in the snow or should i call my gf for a ride??????????????? What do you guys think

ya but the other problem is that i have to be back at work at 8am and shes got work at 7 but idk i guess ur rite i care to much for my baby to slide sideways into a pole and have to fix all the damage. and the best part is that i didnt know it was going to snow and i spent 2 1/2 hours cleaning and detailing it two days ago and now its snow covered and when i finally get it home its gonna be salt covered.

depends on if the roads have been plowed/salted and if you have any hills to go up. the stang shouldnt be all that bad in the snow as long as you know what your doing. but get the gf to pick you up.

and if you knew you could get caught in snow why dont you have snow tires and weight in the trunk? i only take mine out on days i know it wont snow/ice, i could care less about rain.

and be prepared for your TC light to be turned on the entire drive....i drove mine through a snowy parking lot getting it out of the dealership after the damges were fixed and i barely made it out of the lot, and my TC light was on the entire time, never turned off

well i called my sister and she said the roads were plowed and they were just wet with some slick spots so i decided to take a chance and drive it home i made it home safe but i turned the traction control off i dont like the traction control on these cars at all last time i had it on i slid sideways on black ice going to work and i was trying to correct the slide by steering out of it but the traction control made it alot harder to power out of it imo it sucks i like the feel of being in total control of the car not the computer telling my car what to do.
