you don't need to drop the K to change the clutch

he has long tubes so he has to to take one side off.... welll.... here it is...

to remove the k-member (doing this on jackstands to sit it on the ground under the car)

take off wheels. decompress springs and disconnect struts. basically just put a jack under the control arm and lift up some on it then take the 2 strut bolts out. then take the 4 back bolts on the k member out. there are also 4 front bolts on it as well. it will drop right out like that. i leave it connected to the steering lines and such, but i disconnect it from the steering shaft on the drive side. it should take about 2 hours to remove the k member and get the header off. you will need a short 13mm wrench for some of those header bolts.

Hey was wondering if I could get the tranny partially out and unbolt the bellhousing from the inside and back the trans out and then take the bell housing out. That way I dont have to pull the k-member or the header. . . ? Just a thought.

heres a LT install link, you remove the k member to install, so just scratch off the rest of what you dont need.

Default long tube headers make the 3rd bolt on the starter impossible to get off.
