no that wont fit, and http://www.brenspeed.com/mustang_46/HXpipes.htmlits the 4th listing 99-04 o/r h, but if i was you id go with the prochamber instead of a traditional h-pipe, because after 3,000 rpms you lose your tone. im taking my o/r h-pipe off and installing an bassani o/rx-pipe.

a prochamber is suppose to be... "flow of an x-pipe, but sound of an h-pipe" but its quieter of course...

you can put a 96-98 mid pipe on your new edge but if the cross bracket gets in the way (clearance with transmission) you just have to cut it off.

putting a 99+ mid pipe onto a 96-98 is a straight swap but it will sag since it doesn't have the middle bracket to prevent it from sagging.

yes you will notice the sound difference. but is it worth it? not so much since your car will be "quiet-er" and then you've just spent extra money on a midpipe that you already have.

David (Poisnd U) has a catted prochamber with his flow 40's and he thinks its awesome and loud enough but then he met me and now he wants my magnaflow catted x pipe (also have flow 40's CB) since its just so much louder and still sounds badass.
