Default bent header pipe issue???

Alright so I just recieved my BBK LT's and when I looked at the drivers side header I noticed one of the pipes is bent. will this hurt the performance and sound alot?

I might as well send it back to the company and have them replaced with fresh ones right? any help is appreciated.

If it looks almost like it's crushed in, it's made like that for clearance on the steering column. If it's bent in some other way then yes I'd send it back.

it doesnt look like a smooth bend. it looks as if something fell on a piece of metal. ive never seen what the normal bend is supposed to look like so its hard to tell whether its supposed to be like that too.I'm hoping they're the right headers too. now that i look where they're supposed to be bolted to the heads...it looks a little different. idk maybe im just paranoid....this car is my first 4.6 so everything is different for me. im used to seeing all 5.0 parts.

Its just bbks crappy design, rather than build the primary properly they just notch a section for clearance... it wont make much difference, for most people anyway

It's supposed to be that way. It won't make you loose any hp or cause any problems. As long as the ports are round and not oval you have the right ones.
