Default I/C QUESTION

ok this is what i was thinking... an intercooler cools down the air, colder air= more hp, could you hook an intercooler straight up to your intake/ what kinda power would it give you?

Without some type of forced induction to push the air through the intercooler it would just slow the flow a little. You may pick up a few hp but I don't think it would be enough to matter.

Wouldn't be anywhere near enough gain to justify having one.

a fuel cooler would do pretty much the same thing and cost way less, but unless you're racing and need to squeeze every bit of power you can out of the engine, then it's probably just a waste of time and money
