the only thing I dont like bout the FR-500's is that sometimes they look smaller than an 18" wheel. Idk maybe its just me but sometimes when I see them on other peoples' car's they look smaller. I mean regardless they are very very sweet!!!

I looked at AZA's site, I want something a little wider than an 8.5. o well worth a try. too bad SSR's are so damn pricey.

 

I know what you mean. I think it depends on the color of them. When I see pictures of the black chrome ones, they look small, so do the anthrocite ones. Silver seem to look the size that they are and black does too.

The only thing with black wheels that I'm not sure about is that they are black and it will be WAY different than the stock wheels and when it comes to exterior mods, they have to be perfect.

 

yea silver do look a little bigger. I wanted to murder out my car so i was just thinkin of getting the FR-5oo's or deep dish bullits in black. rims are such a hard decision. I want to be different but also keep it not ricey at the same time.

I was about 5 hours away from buying a set of black bullitts when I came across this thread. Holy crap, thats all I can say after seeing this car. I am completely sold. Slicktastyk, can you please let me know where you found these pics, and if the wheels on this black mach 1 are 18s or the 19s? Also, I was looking at these wheels online and noticed that they have a +40 offset. Is that ok? Are spacers needed or what? Any help would be great, I just want to get that exact look. I still can't believe my eyes.

 

Alls I know is they're 18".. that's the only advice I can give you [8D]

 

I was almost sold untilI found out it doesn't come in deep dish 10.5. Oh well... I guess I'll keep looking.

Apparently they widen wheels for a pretty good price. So I think buying the 9.5" and have the lip extended 1" would look great, and the whole set would still be alot cheaper than the SSR wheels. Just a thought though. I am seriously considering it.

 

i believe those wheels are 18x9 or 18x9.5 in the front and 18x10 in the rear. they are discontinued like slicktasty said and i believe they were around 600 a wheel. theres some for sale over at svtp.com but theres anthractice or how ever you spell it and there around 2500-2700 i believe. he swapped out his old mahdi for thoses which look like this
