so i went to a store today and i saw a nice mustang cobra. i parked next to it of course. he has altezza tail lights on his car. and i have the stockers. he asked if i wanted to trade plus he gives me $20.. i took the deal!!!





























JUST KIDDING. i wouldnt take those for anything. but now that i got ur attention (bc i didnt know what to title this thread) what do you guys think i should do with my tail lights..

first off, the new GT is laser red if you dont know, and im tinting the side reflectors with nightshade.. my question is, should i:

nightshade my tail lights and then get them clear coated with car clear coat from a paint shop (my sis' bf paints cars so he'd do it for me)

or

buy smoked tint from stangmods/autobadges??

or

get blackout tint from stangmods/autobadges??

or

keep it stock

I'd probably go with the blacked out tail light covers! Easy to take off if you ever get tired of them!

Are you going to black out the whole center part? Id go with blackouts, but im not really sure with that color car

 

paint them ftw... covers and tint are no where near as niice as your tail lights gettin smoked by paint mixed with clearcoat... looks dead sexy!

so what are you guys saying... nightshade and than clearcoat or buy the tint overlays from stangmods??

 

has anyone installed the overlays?? how do they look in person? do they cover the whole tail light?

 

i just ordered 2 cans of niteshade. i will spray them, wet sand them, clear coat and wet sand them again (2x) then polish to finish the job.
i hope it will look good.
