UPR is a true x crossover and is loud. Mine has a slight rasp at certain rpm, but it still sounds like a beast. BBK X-pipes have a vibrating sound at certain RPM and are not a true X pipe. It's more of a chambered design. I bought a used one once and took it off after the first day. I talked to several other BBK owners andthey had the same mysterious vibration-like sound from their BBK X-pipe.Pypes, DR Gas,and UPR X-pipes are going to sound the same. Louder than H-pipes or pro-chambers, but not as deep. If I had a cable to upload video from my camera I could send you some clips[:@]

I have a UPR O/R/X too. I love it. It fit perfectly and gives zero problems. It is loud as hell. Mine is attached to a FlowMaster cat-back. I picked up some ET at the track with it. Probably due more to the lack of cats. I recommend the UPR unless you just prefer the H-pipe or prochamber. I wentwith the X-Pipe due to the Machs powerbandup top and just use the 4.10s for the low-end.
do you have a sound clip of what yours sound like?
most people recommend h-pipe for FM cat but you have x. I would like to hear what it sounds like.

Thanks,

All I have are VHS-C tapes from my camcorder. My camera didn't come with the cable that uploads video from the camera to the computer, and I keep forgetting to get one. I need to get someone to upload them for me. I have video of me racing/beating a 98 Z28 on a unfinished 4 lane hwy, some track video, couple of 150mph flybys, and some in car video. I have it all compiled, just haven't uploaded it.

I put on the UPR x-pipe last winter to go with my Flowmaster catback.Only took me about 2 hours and it fit great. I think its pretty loudand I'm pretty sure my neighbors probably hate it when I just let it idle in the driveway for no reason or take off from the house and dont shift right on purpose so its loud. Sounds great at idle and at high rpms but its a little raspy between about 2000 and 3000 rpm.My onlyreal complaint is the drone on the highwayat about 80 mph.Over allI think its a good choice.

Yea I was just looking at pics of the bbk, upr, and bassani x pipes and they all have different designs and was wondering if that meant they had different sounds as well. I think i'mma go with upr seeing that it is a true x and and loud.

I have a UPR X Pipe and it sounds stupendously awesome. Very loud and the fitment was great. Chambered mufflers will always be a little deeper tone. but the O/R X with the MAC catback will sound sweet imo.

I have a video of my exhaust if ya wanna hear it
