yeah , the thing that gets me is the horrible top end ima have if i get 410s..

yeah, i have 3.73s right now and the top end is what is holding my back from new gears, that and i drive my car alot and 4.10s my get a bit on my nerves. some people love it some people hate it, all about what you like

What are the RPM's at 70 mph with 4.10s vs. what their at with 3.73s in 5th gear with a manual? Right now stock im at about 2000 RPM.

Base FDR is 3.27:1. If its 2000 rpm @ 70mph,

wow. that just about 500 rpm difference. seems like 373 wont make such a big difference..

4:10's if you plan staying N/A or 3:73's if you go F/I

cant decide what i wanna do. 4.10 would be great, wanna go fast, but i drive 150 miles up north a lot and it might get real annoying real fast.

If you plan on making more than 300WHP then do 3.73's, 410's are way to short for a car with *****.

Back when I was an avid poster on StangNet (hardly go there anymore), the rule of thumb was 4.11's on an auto, 3.73's on stick.
