Default car feels like a turtle...why?

when i first got my car the thign was perky as hell and felt great every time i steped on it. the more mods i did the better it felt. i got it tuned by a shop and it was a good tune...it made 264 rwhp. i ran a best of a 13.3 @ 105 and would always run consistant 13.5s on my nittos..not even the mickeys. so i get my nitrous kit and have to get the car retuned. when the shop retuned it and dynoed it it only made 254rwhp but i figured 10rwhp cant b that much. anyway i take it to the track and made a few N/A passes and couldnt break 13.8 @ 102. the car is a dog now and feels nothing like it used to. i gutted the cats after running it and it was probly a bad idea cause it feels even slower then it did befor. any advice?

take it back to where you got it tuned and tell them they messed up... if you still have your time slips bring them and be make them retune it. If you were running that and it changed after you took it there i would def say thats what messed it up

Did you swap plugs for the new tune? Do you have a wideband A/F meter?

is your car a 4.6 2v ? I have hard time believing 264 rwhp unless you had heads, cams etc. 2v from factory might make 200 rwhp if your lucky. you should be running low to mid 12's with a 100 shot.I dont know what your mods are so cant tell you a lot more. also if you have timing pulled out for the nitrous its going to be a little slower when not spraying it. you should als be running one step colder plugs if your not.

ZW...yes new plugs and no wideband.

johnr- 264 is a very realistic number for a bold on gt. stock they will make 225-230rwhp.

Lmao. SO what like 190 rwhp if were not lucky? [&:] Either your car or dyno has a very very serious problem with it.

264 is beliveable, but it was probably the dyno. Was the old dyno the same as the new one? What plugs are you running with the nitrous?

Different tunes for na and nitrous or the same?

Sounds like a combination of the tune and the spark plug(heat range and gap).
