Default Help with Headers

Ok i bought some BBK shorty headers for my 96 GT. I jacked the motor up to get both headers up there and its just a pain in the *** to get some bolts started in them, the engine bay is so fricken jammed you barely have any room to put headers on, so what im getting as is if any of you guys have any tricks or ideas to make it easier to bolt those up..let me kno.. thanks

I already got them up in there by the heads, but dropping the k-member is the easiest way to start bolting them to the heads huh. Sounds like a lotta work, i didnt kno it would be such a pain to get headers on a car.

well it was very easy with my car on 6 ton jackstands with the k member dropped and me sitting indian style in the wheel well with direct access to the bolts. There is nothing challenging about that part, whatsoever

I think JayC has a "friend" on here that can do long tubes in 2 hrs, shorties he could prolly do in 30 mins.Ask JayC for his contact info maybe he can hook you up.

did you take the stock studs out that hold the original manifolds? i had to take out a couple to fit my longtubes on.
