hey guys i have a 02 redfire gt wtih 17x9/10.5 black fr500's


i really need to lower it but i dont hava alot of moeny... what is the best option... i was looking atabout 1.5-2.0 inches



what you guys think....

mmm well since you dont want to spend too much id go with Csprings. Theyre like 150 and i think give a 1.5 drop. A lot of people are happy with H&R supersports

With C springs you dont have to get an alignment (i dont think) or cc plates or shocks and struts

yeah HR or Eibach. Both have really reviews and make springs that drop 1.5-1.6

C springs dropped mine about 1.2 in front and an inch out back, if you don't put the iso's back in you'll get more of a drop

ihear guys buying the fox 4 cyl springs.dont really know much about what they do but i heard its way cheaper.anyone heard of that?

buy some intrex spring from summit 209......... lower it the full 2inches.. you will also need c&c plates.

the 4cyl springs are designed for the weight of a 4cyl engine, so when you put them in a gt, they go lower because they are submitted to the weight of an 8cyl engine and thus get compressed more. But consequently they end up working great becuase they then help in transferring weight to the back when the vehicle gets launched.

Cheapest option (and im looking into this right now) is foxbody 4cylinder springs and clipped rears. The stock springs are linear, not progressive...so when you cut them it doesnt mess with the spring rate at all.
