I installed a cai on my gt two days ago and was wondering about the round screen that goes in front of the mass airflow sensor. there was no way for it to fit so i just left it off and i was just curious if yall had to leave the screen off and if not will it hurt the car. thanks.

 

may cause your idle to jump a little bit (like 750-850) but its not gonna make your motor blow up. its to 'straiten the air' so the MAF can read the air better
