Default Should I buy?

I have an opportunity to buy a 96 "Mystic" Cobra. Car has a manual transmission and 55,000 miles on it. Has a broken tachometer but other than that no obvious issues. Looks good exterior/interior. He is asking $10,200 for it.

Ford tells me it will cost $120 for a compression check and at least one hour of $80 diagnostic work to get an estimate on fixing the tachometer. The car has a new battery and floor mats. Two sets of rims - originals and some chrome ones he has now. New tires. Newer windshield. Bra. New shift ****. New window tinting. Has a K&N and cold airbox. Flowmasters.

Seems a little pricey, then again I guess I don't know what kind of value if any the mystic paint code adds to the car.

I wonder how much the tach would cost to fix. If I do end up making an offer it will be minus the cost of fixing that.
