My car has the Mach 1000 stereo in it, I was considering taking out the subs and amps how much weight will i be able to lose, Is it worth it to take them out.

I say take it out and sell it to me. But seriously..its prolly not that much extra weight.

it's probably not too much extra weight, but if you're trying to lighten your car up then every bit helps. if they were in my car i'd take em out, but i don't really care for loud stereos (grew out of that whole stage after high school).

For me, once I thought about the option price of them, I'd find another thing to consider. Perhaps the spare tire, back seat delete, junk in the trunk, passenger.

I'd say leave em in.... that extra weight on the rear will help with the launch

Take it out! I had the mach 460 system and took out the rear speaker deck with the amps and speakers, i think it was close to 40lbs of crap. More than I expected.
