I was thinking about putting in new gears to an automatic what should i go to and how muchwill it cost.

 

4.10s and a tune/tuner gears cost me $500 for them and the install and a tuen was like 450..WORLD of a diff.

4:10's unlees you plan on adding a supercharger . 4:10's are great on the street with an auto.

 

Who makes the gear kits

 

what 4.10 gear affect the shifts.

 

do the 4:10's and a j mod valve body conversion and you will love your automatic.

 

What gears would be good if I did plan on getting a supercharger WAY down the line?

 

I have 4:30's and love them.

 

if you're getting an SC then go with 3.73's... *maybe* 3.90's if you want to push it.

you can get 4.10s with an SC but you might then want to beef up your rear end so as to maintain traction off the launch AS WELL AS not snap your axles when you run the full-slicks.
