Default New edge GT's...

I have been debating whether or not to be getting a 94-95 GT/cobra or a 99-04 GT. I know you can make some power with the 5.0 but is it just as easy to make some power with the 4.6? How much power can the 4.6 block handle and isthe bottom end rods/pistons good enough? Because my end goal would be 400 hp out of either car.

And isn't the 1/4 miles stock times for a new edge mid 14's?

low 13's would be full bolt ons, gears and sticky tires. hci wouldnt hurt.

you should also look at 96-98 cobras.

You would need full bolt ons and some sticky tires probably with some suspension work. H/C/I swaps on these cars dont net major gains and are not the best option if you are on a budget build. Your cheapest and best route is to either do bolt ons and nitrous, or just save for a supercharger. I would buy a 4v mach 1 if I were you, or at least an older cobra.

Doing it again id get a 96-98 Cobra, 94-95 CLEAN 5.0, and then a 99-04 GT (in that order)

Thats on a budget...

If not a budget, Terminator, Mach 1 in that order...but if i was spending that much money

C5 Corvette Z06.

BTW my 8.67 in the 1/8th translated to a 13.49 in the 1/4.

So it took me ET Drags, a 4.10, X pipe and FRPP catback to get there.
