So with my plans I should be in the low 12s next time i go to the track . But my question is with my car being a vert I wonder if this will be an issue? Will I have to cage my car??? I really dont want to [:@]

 

more than likely, you will have to cage it. At Milan, any vert below a 13.5 I think, needs a roll cage. Blows. I'd like to say this is the reason why I haven't supercharged my car, but it is a worry of mine.

I hear they have some nice cages that don't look too bad.

I believe the NHRA rules say if you have a convertible and run a 13.99 or faster you must have a roll bar. Its up to the track to enforce it though.

 

you need a roll bar if your running under 13.49

+1 Roll bar they are talking a 6 point to run 13.49 for a vert. Light bar is more for looks. Now it might throw em off when they look threw the window and notice the bar and think your good.
